Alternating Latin and Swing styles

This tutorial covers a very important topic regarding playing the Jazz Standard repertoire. There are many tunes that change styles and rhythmic feels between sections. It is therefore essential to learn ways of setting up transitions between these styles without obstructing the rhythmic flow of the music. We have used the classic Jazz standard "On Green Dolphin Street" to demonstrate this issue, as it has clear Latin to Swing and Swing to Latin style changes.
