Electric Bass Lessons cover:

Working on popular basslines in all styles. Sight reading exercises. Learning major and minor tonalities. Bassline building and soloing.  Learning Jazz standards. Comprehensive studies of Scales/Chords. Rhythmic studies of subdivisions and their applications to grooves. Learning the fingerboard through reading simple to advanced bass/solo lines and harmonic/melodic exercises. Help with transcribing your favourite basslines, or solos. Ear training is organically part of the above. Lessons include devising a practice plan.

Double Bass lessons cover:

A step by step learning of the fingerboard, moving/shifting from position to position. Learning pieces from various jazz and classical study books. Appropriate scale/chord studies, reading exercises based on basslines and soloing to strengthen the student's playing ability as we move through each position. Learning Jazz standards. Help with transcriptions. Ear training, and learning basic to advanced harmony are organically part of the above. Lessons include devising a practice plan.
