About creating simple blues basslines
This is a very useful method of building up note choices from the ground up. We apply it through the 12 bar blues here, but you can do this with any tune. We start by playing roots only, move on to roots and thirds, roots and fifths, roots and thirds and fifths and even learn about a very musical voice leading option at the end. This lesson is a fun way to work through building your own lines and has accompanying sheet music and a playalong included. This same principal can also be used for electric bass.
